How to watch a downloaded film on your phone, laptop and TV

Every download at FimHay is a standard MP4 file, the format that plays almost everywhere. Here is the quickest way to open it on each device.

iPhone and iPad

Tap the download button and choose Download. The film is saved in the Files app under Downloads. Tap it to play, or use Share and pick Save Video to keep it in Photos.

Android

The file lands in your Downloads folder. Open it with the built-in player or with VLC, which is free and handles every format.

Laptop

Double-click the file. If nothing opens, install VLC. To send the film to a bigger screen, connect an HDMI cable or use your browser's Cast option.

Smart TV

Copy the file to a USB stick and plug it into the TV, then open it from the TV's media player. Most televisions made in the last ten years play MP4 without any extra app.
